Experience

Vincent has 24 years of experience in finance, as an investor, board member, and advisor, both in Europe and the United States. Over the course of his career, Vincent has managed in excess of $1.5 billion of principal investments and been responsible for over $10 billion of combined M&A and capital markets financing transactions.

Prior to founding MVP with Mike, Vincent was focused on managing the family businesses of airline catering and property development in Seychelles. In addition, he spent three years as a non-executive board director and member of the risk and credit committee of Nouvobanq, the largest bank in Seychelles.

From 2012 to 2014, Vincent was the Chief Operating Officer of the portfolio team at HgCapital, a European software focused middle-market private equity firm. He managed a team of 7 people, who were responsible for the implementation of value creation plans and performance monitoring of 25 portfolio companies with £2.5 Bn in total sales. Vincent supervised the implementation of operational efficiency projects, as well as revenue growth projects such as sales force optimization, pricing, cross-selling, inbound marketing, and strategic planning projects.

For exactly 14 years, Vincent worked for Morgan Stanley in several capacities both in the London and New York offices. In his last role at Morgan Stanley, Vincent was Managing Director in the European Merger & Acquisitions team, where he started his banking career in 1998. For a period of over 3 years, Vincent invested and managed a portfolio of over $1.5 billion in illiquid assets, including private equity, distressed debt, loans and convertible debt as part of Morgan Stanley Principal Investments, a multi-billion investment vehicle using the firm’s balance sheet targeting private equity and growth investments. In addition, he has been part of Morgan Stanley’s Enterprise Risk Management group, which focused on finding capital market solutions for idiosyncratic risks.

Education

Vincent earned his Master in International Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics (UK) in 1998 and graduated cum laude as Commercieel Ingenieur from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) in 1997. Vincent holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.

Interests

Vincent grew up in Belgium and left for London in 1997 in order to explore the world of finance. While in London, he met his wife Georgia, with whom he has two children. A fanatic skier, Vincent keeps himself fit during the summer with running, cycling, and water skiing.
